Jetcut
Field
has built a reputation for being able to tackle
the type of work that many other companies shy
away from. As a primarily engineering company
(based on Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Water), our
design and concepts team develop methods and technologies
to handle what would otherwise be seemingly impossible
or exceedingly difficult tasks.
Our
equipment is state-of-the-art. With the assistance
of our sister company, Jetcut
Offshore Technologies (JOT),
Jetcut Field has designed
and built two Class 1 enclosed Intensifier units,
specifically designed for offshore work. Both
units are one of a kind. Fully transportable,
each able to generate pressures of up to 40,000
psi, with a huge flow rate of 50L/minute of water,
the cutting power of the units are phenomenal!
Originally designed for sub-sea work (removal
of Oil Wellheads from the ocean floor - see our
JOT
website), the units can be used in a variety of
other applications, including the cutting of over
1 metre thick concrete from bridges, boring through
rock, cement and steel, and even the blasting
of surfaces to remove paint and other substances
- with the pressure suitably adjusted of course.
In
addition to this, Jetcut Field
also has a smaller intensifier unit, for smaller
scale work. With a working pressure of 40,000psi
and able to generate 15L/minute of Water, the
unit is quite at home in handling similair cutting
work, but in places where transport or space is
an issue.
