USNS Watson & Pomeroy:

Jetcut Field varies from other water blasting operations in one, yet significant, respect: we use Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Water in our blsting operations. That's 30,000psi+ pressure.

This is VERY significant. With more than twice the blasting power of other water blasting companies, Jetcut Field has a much greater penetrating ability, and can remove surface coatings and concrete a lot faster than conventional water blasting.

Combined with the unique engineering approach of Jetcut Field's sister companies (JetNET and JOT), Jetcut Field developed a system to COMPLETELY clean the inside of deck tie-down points onboard US Navy Transport Ships.

The system, utilising our Offshore Intensifier units and state-of-the-art PLC control systems, has a very small "footprint" on the deck, and is a virtually automatic system that can totally remove all old paint and rust from the inside of the cleat, leaving only bare metal.

The cleat then needs no further treatment. After a quick drying process, the cleat is ready to repaint. The whole operation only takes about 2 or 3 minutes!

Jetcut Field has already successfully utilised it's revolutionary new technology on two campaigns: The USNS Watson and the USNS Pomeroy.
