Jetcut Offshore
Technologies (JOT) P/L
was established to build and operate UHP plants
and tools for severance work in the Oil &
Gas industry.
The
equipment is designed by the Jet-NET
International P/L team, but
construction and operation is licensed to JOT.
JOT's main
areas of expertise are in:
building
fully operational plants.
building
specialised cutting tools.
training
personnel to operate plants and tools.
providing
field cutting services to the Oil & Gas industry
In
May 2000, JOT recieved
a license from Jet-NET
to build and operate a new underwater wellhead
cutting system, called ths Sub-Sea
Cutting (SSC)
system (for details, visit
Jet-NET's Sub-Sea
Technology Page)
JOT
had only 4 months to build and commission the
first SSC plant, in
addition to training personnel and be ready for
a 3 wellhead severance campaign in the North-West
Shelf of Western Australia.
The
new system, built and operated by JOT,
demonstrated that a 4 string wellhead in 85m of
water can be severed in 3.5 hrs.
The
new system supercedes all exisitng jets in power
and efficiency by at least a factor of two and
signals an arrival of a new generation of underwater
cutting jets.
